Meringue Powder, 5lb
A substitute for raw egg whites. Needed to make the perfect royal icing, meringue, and buttercream. Bakers prefer using Meringue Powder instead of raw egg whites for safety reasons.
* 1 Tbl Meringue Powder + 2 Tbl Water = 1 Egg White
*Royal Icing Recipe: 1lb Powdered Sugar, 5-6 Tbl Water, 3 Tbl Meringue Powder. Beat at medium speed 8-10 minutes. Icing should form stiff peaks. Keep covered.
